Cake is a restaurant in Chestnut Hill set in a green house connected to a florist. Madeline and I went to the florist last year and the restaurant was closed because it was a Monday. We took a great Polaroid picture of the greenhouse through the window and we have been wanting to eat there ever since
Fast forward a year and we are married with child, but most importantly: we had the opportunity to eat at Cake!
We sat down and commented on the atmosphere (mostly old women) and the waitress asked for our order. Maddie ordered a tomatoe and mozzarella quiche, and I ordered the French toast.
The French toast was pretty good, tasted light and fresh with natural syrup. Maddie got the last slice of basil and tomato quiche. She said it was very yummy with a light buttery crust and fresh cherry tomatoes throughout.
